FACTS SO YOU FEEL CONFIDENT ABOUT YOUR DECISION

I know that preparing for a boudoir shoot can feel intimidating, so here's a list of common questions clients ask! please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. I want you to feel confident and empowered by your decision, so ask away!

FAQ'S

How should I arrive?

Please come comfy! Makeup will be provided at your session, and light hairstyling will be available as well. I suggest in a cozy outfit. We will look over your outfits together, so no need to come already in lingerie.

How long is a shoot typically?

A photoshoot is typically 3 to 4 hours. This timeframe includes the makeup time, as well as outfit changes.

how do i know what poses to do?

I got you! I'll walk you through a bunch of different poses, show you how to do them, etc... I also love any inspo you want to bring! If you have a Pinterest board that you have created, send that my way too! We will do a combo of specific poses and more "in the moment ones", but no matter what, you'll look great.

FAQ'S

do i need to be confident or experienced to do this?

Experienced? Absolutely not! By the time you leave, you'll fee like a model.
In terms of confidence, just know that I will meet you where you're at and cheer you on and encourage you from there. Everyone has a different confidence level, but more importantly, everyone has their own kind of confidence. You'll be surprised, you might be a lot more confident than you realize.

How much retouching do you do? Will i still look like myself?

Personally, I am of the belief that your photo should be you. If you have something temporary going on, think bruises, breakouts, etc..., that is something I'll fix and touchup. If you would like a heavier touch-up of your photos, then I'm all ears and lets talk about it!

FAQ'S

what happens with my images? are they private or do they go on your site?

Your pictures are YOURS. That means if you want to keep them private, absolutely! I have an optional and voluntary model release. If you don't want your images shared, then they will never be shared.
If you purchase an album, the album company that I use is  women-run and owned. They are amazing, transparent, and understand the importance of keeping your images private.
If you purchase a viewfinder, the company I use has been around for many years, and is run by professional photographers as well. They, however, do not allow full nudity in their products, as an extra layer of comfort for you.
Your session and images are treated with care and respect each step of the way.

when and how do i pick my photos?

We will find a time that works for both you and myself. Once decided, you'll come back and we'll do an in-person reveal!

FAQ'S

Can i bring a friend?

Yes, but if you do bring someone, really think about who you want. Bring someone who will encourage you, will have high energy, and not someone who is going to make you feel less in any way.

With that being said, for the shoot itself, no significant others. Significant others can tend to want to direct the shoot and interrupt the flow. HOWEVER, they are more than welcome to join you for the photo selection process!

What do i wear?

After we book your session, I'll send you a little guidance, but honestly, what makes you feel comfortable? What makes you feel sexy? Bring options! typically we will do 3-4 outfits, so having options is great.

where are you located?

I am based in Skagit County, WA, but serve a wide range of the state (as well as have traveled out of state for sessions!).

FAQ'S

what is your studio like?

My studio is an intimate home studio. This is perfect because it is private and has a zero pressure feel from start to finish. With that said, please let me know if you have a dog allergy! If this is the case, then we will get creative and I'll find a different venue!

how does the payment system work?

All sessions are to be paid in full prior to the session date. However, I believe payment shouldn't be what holds you back from your experience. If you would like to discuss a payment plan that works for you, please reach out and I'm sure we can come to an agreement!

do you provide a client closet?

At this time, I do not have a closet, but I do have a few items! I have a lace robe that fits a wide range of sizes and I also have beautiful pasties of various sizes if you would like to wear those. During our presession conversations we will go over outfit ideas as well.

open communication is extremely important to me! If you have any questions or don't see your question addressed here, please feel free to send me a message! you are welcome to send a message via the contact section below, via social media, or send an email to:
